Financial Planning Week

FPA is excited to again celebrate the 6th annual Financial Planning Week, October 1-7 this year. FPA’s goal for Financial Planning Week remains the same to help the public discover the value of financial planning through media events, legislative events and public events. In order for this event to be a success, we need your help.

FPA of Illinois, in conjunction with other FPA chapters, will sponsor a series of events aimed at helping individuals discover the value of financial planning and understand the financial planning process.

Financial Planning Week is an excellent way to become involved. Encourage your clients to participate in your our chapter’s local Financial Planning Week events and activities.

Our members have exciting plans underway for National Financial Planning Week. Mark your calendars now!

FPW table tents are a great way to build awareness within your community of Financial Planning Week. Consider placing table tents in the following locations:

Banks
Libraries
Schools/universities
Restaurants

Contact your local library, school or service organization and offer to speak about the benefits of financial planning, host a Q & A session, or to at least set up an informational display during National Financial Planning week. We have materials available to help you approach libraries, schools, etc., including:
