Excellent Opportunity for Member CFPs
Over the last sever al years, the Financial Planning Association of Illinois has made a concerted effort in our Financial Literacy outreach program in connecting FPA members to local area libraries. We have received a great boost in our endeavors as many libraries have expressed an interest in participating in Monday Smart Week, April 20-26, 2008. Money Smart Week is sponsored by the Federal Reserve Board of Chicago and FPA Illinois has played an every increasing roll in their program by connecting qualified planners with the community at large. Please take advantage of this excellent opportunity by reviewing the enclosed library listing and topics form. In addition to the enclosed, a spreadsheet listing the libraries with topics, dates and times is posted on the FPA of Illinois website.
If you are interested in participating, please review the available dates and libraries on our website. The highlighted libraries are still available. Complete the attached form and return it to Dee Farris at dee.farris@fpaillinois.org. Presentations will be assigned on a first come-first served basis so please contact Dee at your earliest convenience. Also, libraries have long publicity deadlines and we would like to forward them your name and presentation topic as soon as possible.
